I will post pictures later (not too exciting driving across Wyoming) but wanted everyone to know we arrived in North Platte, Nebraska tonight. We did about 700 miles.
I may add pictures in the AM or wait to do it tomorrow night. We have been watching the liscence plates and so far we have seen about 25 States and 4-5 of the Canadian provinces. Bill Cosby audio CD's are keeping us quite entertained.

A BIG highlight and something we looked forward to all day, was getting to see Rich and Karen (Unger)Smith. Karen was a RA with us back in our Sonne days. We had not seen them for quite a few years! It was a special evening together! Thanks Karen and Rich!
Woke up to frost on the car this AM. As you can tell I drove, Jesse took pictures. Not much scenery.

Off we go!
After an early and busy morning of taking Shawna's shipment to the airport, packing the car, doing some cleaning and then having lunch together, Jesse and I began our adventure of driving to DC. We were able to get in over 200 miles this afternoon and evening. 
Nothing much to see between San Francisco and Sacramento. The traffic was pretty heavy and I was kind of glued to the map. It was SO nice to get away from the congested cities!
We enjoyed the late afternoon and evening as we drove into the mountains. We are spending the night by Lake Tahoe. There is quite a bit of snow around here and it is little on the chilly side! Tuesday will be a long day as we hope to make it to Salt Lake City.
