This morning I was walking by this table we have in our living room. I have an old hymnal displayed there (some of you may not even know what that is! Ha!). The words of one of the hymns caught my attention and I paused and read through them.

I love hymns because of the writer's God-gifted talents to pen meaningful words into songs that can be applied to our lives even today. With all the chaos that is going on around me, this hymn is what I needed to put in my mind for today, reminding me that I am 'The Child of a King'.
