The parade of flags is always an awesome part of the opening ceremonies...this year 52 countries are represented in the student body! (The flags are carried in by the seniors...class of 2011!)
Phil Peters is the intern director for this year. He got everyone's attention by rappelling onto the stage from the rafters. He is a BFA grad from the class of 1976.

oh dear - there are things I miss and things I don't. was phil hiding in the rafters while the flags were being brought in or what exactly happened?!?!?!?!
