Around Kandern...

Every work day the stores and banks in the smaller towns are closed from 12:30 to 2:30 for 'mid-day break/rest'. While waiting for the stores to open this afternoon, I took a walk and took some pictures. It was such a beautiful day and it was fun to look for unique things!



I love the creative window boxes which add character to each of the buildings.
These flower arrangements are 8/9 feet tall and are placed in different places around the town square. They are absolutely beautiful!
An interesting way to decorate the street light! I wonder who gets to water these?
Kandern is known for its' pottery. It is here in stone!
Another fun display on the square, outside the basket/flower shop.
