Today began with a wonderful worship service at our church. Great singing, a testimony and a wonderful message.
As soon as the service was over we dashed to the van and headed to the train station to take a trip into the Black Forest. When we got to the station we found out that there was no train and we would have to take a bus. So away we went on yet another form of German transportation.
In Freiburg we caught the train and headed into the hills. It was a sunny but cold day. A lovely ride through the hills.
David(eating pudding)and Ray looking for bargains in a German newspaper.
We got to our destination, Titisee, which is a little resort in the Black Forest, built along a lake. A few people were braving the cold and enjoying their food outside.
Jesse and I enjoyed our 'Valentine' dessert and coffee inside a warm place.
The lake, frozen over.
The wood carver's shop, which was not open!
The 'new hat' club!
The train coming in to bring us back home.
